CSS Zen Garden Project

The purpose of this project was to better learn how to use CSS coding to change a template and make it our own theme.  The audience for this project was simply other students in the class, so we could showcase our improvements.  I created this in the first half of the quarter in my Website Design class, and this was really my first experience working on coding a webpage.  I decided to make it UW themed because then it will apply to any students (current or former) at any of the UW campuses.  I learned how to use a program called Fireworks to create the UW Tacoma header, applying effects such as gradients and shadows.  I also learned how to change the background of a site, and how to make backgrounds more transparent as I did with the W in the top right corner.
